Bonaventure Golf is a Waters’ family business on its 3rd generation. We have celebrated this special week for many years. We enjoy watching the professionals showcase their skills. We’ve witnessed lucky shots and mortal magic. But Masters Week is so much more than that to us.
Masters Week means seeing friends that we haven’t seen since Masters Week last year. Some of these friends have been visiting us annually for 50 years. It’s like a reunion. “What’s been going on?” “How’s the family?” “How old is ___ now?” Who got married? Who got divorced? Who moved? Did you have a boy or a girl?
We love the international customers. We are very proud to say many of them return to say hello every year. Obviously, many of the Masters competitors are from other countries and they do indeed have their own fans. If a particular Masters competitor is favored to win and is from a foreign country, we know that country will be well represented during the tournament.
We love the Augusta National temporary employees. Hundreds of workers travel to Augusta for this sacred week. Some are marshalls, scorekeepers, food and beverage service, press, etc. Many take vacations from their usual job that week just so they can work here.
They are as happy to be here as we are to have them here.
So, if you’re in town Masters Week, please stop by. You can only fall into one of two categories.
1) Friend.
2) Someone we haven’t met yet.
Many customers place orders for golf equipment so that it will be available to be picked up during Masters Week. If we can help you, please call 1-800-935-7479, 706-868-6448, or email us.
